Please join us Sunday, May 24, 2015 for a fundraiser concert featuring solo performances by Adam Kossler and duo performances by Dr. Kossler and Matthew Dunlap. Dr. Kossler has been a top prizewinner in a number of international guitar competitions, and he performs regularly as a solo artist, as a member of the NOVA Guitar Quartet, and with the Kossler Guitar Trio alongside his father Bill and brother John.

Dr. Kossler has been featured on many prestigious concert series including the John E. Marlow Guitar Series (Bethesda, MD), Isle Newell Concert Series (Appalachicola, FL), and the Seven Hills Guitar Series (Tallahassee, FL).

Valentine’s Day Gala Concert

Join Aguado Guitar Concerts Saturday, February 13 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Café Montmartre in Reston, VA for a special Valentine’s dinner and concert! The evening will begin with a gourmet dinner in a romantic setting with live background music provided by AGC members, it will continue with a silent auction, and conclude with a concert of romantic music featuring the splendid classical guitarists, Jonathan Smith.

The event includes dinner (your choice of one of three entrées), a silent auction, and a concert featuring guitarist Jonathan Smith.

Last night’s program featured student performer Sean Murphy playing Prelude No. 1 by Heitor Villa-Lobos and Maryam Hajialigol & Steven Paredes together performing Maximo Diego Pujol’s “Milonga.”

Join us Saturday, April 25, 2015 as Ana Vidović returns to perform as part of the 2014-2015 Aguado Guitar Concert series. Ms. Vidović is an internationally-renowned guitarist originally from Karlovac, Croatia (near Zagreb).

Ms. Vidović’s concert comes at the end of the Aguado Guitar Concerts annual competition, and winners will be announced at the performance.

November 1, 2014 – Jon Yerby in Concert

Join us Saturday, November 1, 2014 as Jon Paul Yerby performs in the inaugural concert of the 2014-2015 concert series. Dr. Yerby is currently serving as professor of guitar at Utah Valley University and heads the guitar department at the Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Yerby is the founder of the Florida based non-profit, Seven Hills Guitar Series, and currently serves as President of the Utah Classical Guitar Society. In 2013 Yerby formed the Utah Guitar Trio with guitarists Tully Jefferson Cathey and Todd Woodbury.
